Hisham Hafez, M.D.

Hisham Hafez, M.D., is a Board Certified psychiatrist in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry with over 40 years of experience.  The guiding principle of his work is patient-centered care, based on the belief that a therapeutic alliance is the key factor in a healing process.  The unique relationship between a person and his/her caregivers is at the core of the tradition of medicine – indeed all the healing arts – and determines its therapeutic power. Scientific advances in the understanding of the nature, cause, and treatment of illness will yield its promise to relieve human suffering only if this core value is honored.  At Healthy Perspectives, we do.

Dr. Hafez’s interests consist of severe and persistent mental illness that includes psychotic disorders, affective, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorders and memory and cognitive defects.
